Neil Morgenstern, MD
Dr. Neil Morgenstern is a Broad Certified Physiatrist. Dr. Morgenstern has extensive experience in Pain Management, Sports Medicine, and Orthopedic and in Rehabilitation. He has excellent beside manners and is very will respected by his peers. Dr. Morgenstern was a Medical Director for over 4 years prior to working at South Shore Medical & Rehabilitation. Biofeedback/Neurofeedback Specialist Charles Brody received his masters in Psychology and Education from Columbia University. He received intensive individual training in the use of Neurofeedback from Joel Lubar, Ph.D. who is considered a pioneer in Neurofeedback applications for ADD/ADHD. Charles has been providing EEG Biofeedback and Traditional Biofeedback for the past seven years. He is certified through the National Guild of Hypnotists and an active member of The Biofeedback Society of New York. He has been a featured guest on New York radio and a frequent lecturer. Maria Herrara, MD Manny has been with us over 11 years now.
Physical Therapist at South Shore Medical and Rehabilitation since 1998 October to present. Emmanuel also is a Physical Therapist at Nassau University Medical Center, he has been there since 1993. Dr. Willems vast experience includes acute, sub-acute and chronic care in the following fields of physical therapy; neuromuscular, pediatrics and orthopedics. Eka has a Associate Degree in Medical Assisting from A.S.A. College of Advanced Technology, Brooklyn NY. She assists our physical therapists Dr. Gabriela and Emmanuel with patients care such as electrical therapy, vibromassage and therapeutic exercises. Eka is a great asset to our staff!!!!!

Steve Bernstein brings over 10 years of clinical experience in treating pain patterns with Traditional Oriental Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture. A graduate of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City, Steve has traveled extensively to Korea and China in developing his skills. Steve is also active in the Acupuncture community and was on the board of directors of The Acupuncture Society of New York (ASNY) for several years. Steve is a member of the AAOM, and is an NCCAOM board certified diplomate in good standing. He is also a former faculty member at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Morgenstern has been working with South Shore Medical & Rehabilitation for over three years and has added a new dimension, to the practice. Dr. Neil Morgenstern provides trigger point injections to patients who need them.
Eka has been with us since December 2005, and she has been working as a Physical Therapy Aide since 2003.
Danny has been with us for the past 7 years. Treating patients for various conditions. He has been in private practice for over 12 years and has been trained by some of the top Bodyworkers in the US.
We would like to welcome Steve to South Shore Medical and Rehab.
